One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in; Homely family vibe, sweet owners. Perfect facilities, comfortable and clean. Vegan-friendly breakfast. Eco-friendly and part of local food co-op. Lovely yard and hammock. Great location near town and transportation.

Located right in front of the bus stop and close to the city center, this hostel is the perfect base for exploring the area. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests, even allowing a late check-out and providing helpful instructions for self check-in. the breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options, including vegan choices. the outdoor area is a great spot to unwind with a drink or cup of tea.

Although the staff is accommodating, they could improve their level of hospitality and be more talkative with guests.

The two key things that I liked about my stay were the warm and welcoming hosts and the great breakfast spread. the hosts made me feel like part of their family and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. the breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from. the location of the hotel was perfect - it was close to the train station and the center, making it convenient to explore the city.

The only downside of my stay was the presence of mosquitoes. Unfortunately, there were quite a lot of them and it was difficult to avoid their bites.

I had a fantastic stay at Can Cocollona! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The hostel itself had a charming Spanish style and a lovely garden. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and they even organized a New Year's Eve gala dinner for all the guests. The bathrooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was a great start to the day. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to experience the best of Girona.
